We listened to our customers and developed an all-new VAREX valved muffler, delivering 10% greater volume variation than our previous systems. When fully open, the new design produces a much louder, aggressive, and throaty exhaust note, amplifying the signature Subaru boxer rumble. When closed, it maintains a refined, street-friendly tone—noticeable but never intrusive, making it perfect for both spirited driving and daily commutes.
To ensure peak performance and sound quality, we extensively engineered and tested these new VAREX valved mufflers on a Subaru VA STI (EJ25) and a Subaru WRX G3 S2 (EJ25). The result?
